Returns & Exchanges Policy
Eligible returns and exchanges are only valid up to thirty (30) days from the date of delivery. All non-defective stocked items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Special orders, factory orders, and other select items are ineligible. The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with any return or exchange. All returns and exchanges shall require Golden West's approval and an RMA prior to the return, exchange, and/or credit request.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (5 to 7 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
All orders are normally processed the same day and shipped promptly if in stock. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Most of our items are eligible for free shipping with an order subtotal over $500.00. Heavy weight and extra long items -- e.g. door closers and continuous hinges over 83" -- are ineligible for free shipping.
Golden West is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
